This course examines foundational knowledge to the study of interior design. It proceeds in five parts. You will explore the profession of interior design from origination through present day. Then you will examine architectural styles and movements in design to provide context for designing. As a result, you will learn to distinguish what comprises a quality interior. You will examine various methods of articulating a design. Lastly, you will learn to appraise how important individuals, groups, and cultures can be to the practice of interior design.
