The Principles of Health Care Management course will prepare students to be skillful and successful in the management of health care institutions and public health agencies. Topics addressed include leadership styles and their interaction with external and internal stakeholders, strategic planning techniques and marketing, quality improvement processes in health care, health care finance, and related case studies as part of the course activities. The focal point of the course is to expand on the theoretical and practical approach in order to comprehend health care operations in a diverse and complex environment.
