This graduate course introduces project management in development, humanitarian, nonprofit, faith-based, public-sector, and community settings. Designed for students with limited prior project management experience, it follows the Project DPro framework from project identification and definition through setup, planning, implementation, and closure. Students learn the related management disciplines, apply selected Project DPro Starter tools, and compile the results in a Project Design Dossier. The course also introduces monitoring, evaluation, accountability, learning, grant-development considerations, and professional project communication. Certification-style practice is provided as an optional extension of course learning; students are not required to take the external Project DPro Foundation examination.
