This course is an overview of contemporary challenges immigrants face in large cities around the world. It examines the biblical background of immigration and the relationship between immigrants, the church, and the wider urban community. The course deals with how the church can aid immigrants in dealing with language barriers, loneliness, homelessness, hunger, ethnic identity crisis, and access to social and legal services.
