The emphasis in this class is a hands-on, inquiry-based approach. The topics of science, including the physical, environmental and life sciences are divided up and given to teams of two to three students who must prepare inquiry activities. They then teach the others in the class how to do these hands on activities including safety aspects to be considered. They prepare handouts which are given to all other students on how to do the activity.
