This course is intended to provide an overview of educational administration and leadership drawing from theory, research, and practice. We will explore the purposes, organization, and administration of educational programs and institutions; the structure and control of school systems; the nature of administration; conceptual foundations of educational administration. We look at the processes, tasks, roles, and relationships that guide the educational leader’s work. This course requires field-based work.
