This seminar appraises different theoretical perspectives of development and offers a critical and ethical understanding of the social, economic, and political dimensions of development in practice. Theories will be applied to specific cases in several areas of development such as religion, advocacy, education, emergency preparedness and management, gender, global health, civil society, policy, etc. This course will be conducted in a seminar style.
